Dehiscence of capsule by horizonal cleavage in mid-capsule. Plants grown under controlled conditions by Dr. G.A.M. Scott in Otago University & by J.T. Linzey at home dehisced in a similar manner, so it appears to be normal. These plants (in packet) at right stage for collecting, but 2 other clumps watched by Linzey were on rather dryer & warmer sited apparently & there is no sign of them now.
