Supplementary remarks:
Almost certainly an isosyntype of Rhynchostegium cylindritheca Dixon, Bull. Torr. Bot. Cl. 42: 108 (1915). Unfortunately this specimen has no intact capsules. I would therefore be reluctant to unequivocably confirm its identity as Eriodon cylindritheca. I am assured that there is fruiting syntype material (Leg. Gray, Mauriceville) at WELT, but I have not yet examined it.
