Floor in narrow steep gully; pasture with some indigenous herbaceous plants. Pasture with patches of Carex sp (C. geminata or C. lessoniana) and growing with C. inversa.

Notes:
flower/fruit Originally collected unintentionally on 24 Jan 04 with C. [Carex] inversa and grown in a plot at 22 Forres St Wanganui. The specimen is taken form the plot on 16 Nov 04. Leaves glossy below; ligule to 8 mm, acute; many fine tillers from base of flowering culms.
