Supplementary remarks:
Plants lustrous, very fine, forming interwoven mats. Stems irregularly branched, apparently short, to c. 10 mm, in cross-section with several layers of incrassate outer cells and no central strand, hyaloderm poorly developed (or absent?). Branches variable in length. Leaves strongly falcate-secund, slenderly acuminate from an ovate-lanceolate base, concave and clasping below (but not sheathing), not or weakly twisted, strongly concave, narrowly reflexed at margins (most apparenlty when dry), denticulate above, entire below, c. 1.4 × 0.3 mm (under cover slip); 1.3–1.8 × 0.3–0.35 mm (under cover slip); mid laminal cells linear-vermicular, c. (45– 60 (–70) × 4–5 µm (length difficult to measure), firm-walled, narrow and not or very weakly projecting at ends, weakly porose, those at leaf base shorter, and strongly porose and yellow; alar cells abruptly differentiated, (2–) 3 strongly inflated but firm-walled, oblong-rounded, hyaline or yellow cells in extreme angles, with a few subquadrate or oblong supra-alar cells.
Reportedly autoicous. Perichaetia scattered on stems, the inner perichaetial leaves shortly piliferous from a ± oblong base, strongly toothed above, with alar cells not or scarcely differentiated, sheathing the seta (apparently expanding after fertilization?). Perigonia not seen. Setae red-brown, smooth, twisted weakly to the left above, 11 mm; capsules inclined or pendulous due to curvature of upper setae, cylindric, symmetric, strongly narrowed below mouth when dry, with a short neck when dry, not markedly protuberant/mamillate 1.4–1.8 mm; stomata not examined; annulus and operculum not seen; exothecial cells short oblong or square, arranged in distinct longitudinal ranks (± visible under handlens), with the longitudinal walls somewhat thicker than the transverse walls, moderately thickened at corners. Peristome as per genus; cilia single. Calyptra not seen. Spores variable in size in single capsule, (15–) 18–24 µm; some persisting at tetrads.

Supplementary remarks:
I have no definite opinion of this specimen. It could be profitably compared to the type of Warburgiella macrospora (Dixon & Sainsbury) B.C.Tan, W.B.Schofield, & H.P.Ramsay (Sematophyllum macrosporum Dixon & Sainsbury). However, I am not convinced any of these species are worthy of recognition.
