Notes:
Common - the dominant Macropiper on the island, Sympatric on this island with Macropiper excelsum subsp. peltatum (AK 308794). Notably the "Hauraki Gulf Form" of M. excelsum supsp. excelsum is apparently not present on this island though it is appearently the only varian present on nearby Hauturu (Clark's Island) - see AK 308769.
