Notes:
Forming sparingly trunked tall trees (up to 10 m tall) or multi-trunked shrubs up to 5 m across. Leaves bvery dark green and glossy when fresh. Flowers white when fresh and stongly fragrant (smelling somewhat of vanilla mixed with lemon). Raoul Island Melicytus needs critical comparison with Melicytus samoensis.
