Notes:
In a small totara - kowhai riparian forest trmnant on margin of extensice saltmarsh. The dominant tree but associated at this site with many hybrids S. chathamica × S. microphylla (no pure S. microphylla seen in this forest remnant). DNA voucher for Massey University Sophora study.
