Habitat:
Ex Cult. Specimen grown from seed sampled from near Tatua Peak on 16 Oct 1997. Specimen now 2 m tall, branches plumose with crowded leaves, leaves silvery-grey sericeous hairy when fresh. Flowers subsesslie, hypanthium barrel-shaped, calyx lobes deltoid, acute, pinched in at bud, erect in flower, petals erect to suberect. All features of "pure" K. ericoides var linearis.
