Abundant. Dominant plant on the reef. Estimated to be in excess of 5000 adult plants. Forming dense patches of shrublets up to 1 × 1 m. Stems distinctly woody at base, outer bark orange, inner green, young branchlets rather fleshy/succulent. Leaves semi-succulent, yellow-green, finely puberulent. Capitula pale yellow to cream (not white like Kaingaroa Point plants). DNA voucher. DUPLICATES SENT TO: CHR, HO
