Notes:
Common, population c. 120-150 individuals growing at base of and up sides of a rotational slump developed on fault scarp or Ruapuke Fault; substrate basalt, limestone & tuff (occasional lenses of ignimbrite) overlaid by Pleistocene sands. Plants very healthy up to 4 m × 2m, in full flower. Growing with Hebe stricta var. macroura, Isolepis nodosa, Metrodiseros excelsa. DNA voucher (AFLP). DUPLICATE TO: CHR, WELT.
