Notes:
Very common on sand soils of valley bottoms and eastern dune field (now mainly pines). Large turbinate/ obconic capsules and shard-like, tessellated, honey-brown bark. Reasonably pure population here although K. aff. ericoides (K. "latifolia") grows in bush nearby road (on clay soils).DUPLICATE SENT TO: CHR
