Notes:
Uncommon. Confined to the bottom of "Cyperus Gully" where the plants grew in fine silt and sand on the margins of a brackish pond. The pond seems to be a recent feature that owes its origin to Cyclone Bune, as evidenced by the in situ drowned Cyperus insularis plants lining the bottom of the pond.
