Notes:
Common and rather variable. This species from a 5 × 10 m, multi-trunked, semi-sprawling, pendulous "tree". Bark flaking in small, irregular shards. Branchlet hairs very variable but most divergent with mixtures of antrorse. Flowers (6-)7(-9) mm diam., stamens (28-)32(-38) (x=32, n=20). Growing along side a geothermal heated stream, typical K. ericoides var. microflora and K. latifolia" present in the area.
