Notes:
Virtually pure but leaves and sepals are a little too wide for the typical form of this taxon. Most Auckland collections of K. ericoides var. linearis are hybrids introgressed toward K. "latifolia" with very little pure K. ericoides var. linearis present. Note acute long persistent sepals, typical of K. ericoides var. linearis. Flowers with (28-)33-(-3855) stamens, petals scarcely deflexing, often arising at an acute angle for the hypanthia.
