Notes:
Unnamed species? Scattered plants on the eastern end of the main tower. Growing with C. verecundus subsp. verecundus which occurs as a small patch at the eastern end of the tower and which is more common at the western end of the tower. C. verecundus subsp. waitaha grows on a slump opposite the main tower. Leaves thick, upturned at margin, disntinctly sinuate to serrate, green-brown, veins prominent.
