Notes:
Bracteate. Fls & frt borne between a pair of sessile, ovate bracts, cordate at base. Calyx 5mm long, tubular 5 toothed. Fl bud 13mm, pinkish. Frt red, 15mm, oval oblong with a tip. Lvs petiolate (1mm), to 15 x 10cm, generally smaller, opposite, darker above. Stipules short-lived, tapered to a point, c.5mm long.
