Plant I.D. Register: 2001/141. Locally dominant in a strip c. 5m x 0.5m. Leaves, stems, peduncles all pubescent, red tinged. Corolla lobes ± equal, pale blue with darker purple veins; yellow (nectar guide ?) at throat. Anthers united around stigma, with pore at tip. Garden escape. Fine gravel right on road verge (i.e. between sealed road and mown grass verge).
