Notes:
Plant ID register 2001/19 A common plant in vineyards around Blenheim and considered a problem weed. Atypical of most collections of Epilobium billardiereanum subsp. cinereum. Specimens of this have sometimes been misidentified as Epilobium hirtigerum but that species has long hairs dense on the capsule. This species has hairs inside the corolla tube.
