Habitat:
Old dune hollow, in "pasture" - C. sinclairii locally dominant, with Agrostis stolonifera, Alopecurus pratensis, Juncus articulatus. Seasonally flooded; peaty sand.
Notes:
Plants yellow-green; soft foliage rhizomatous, forming patch at leat 0.5 ha. young spikes with flowers. Glumes green with dark median stripes.
