Dominant. Flower. Forming semi-floating patches covering many m². Brought to site accidentally with sedges from Auckland area in c.1996. Being controlled by local council. Apparently less here than last year! Eleocharis sphacelata locally dominant between clumps of Schoenoplectus californicus.
