Supplementary remarks:
According to both the lectotype and the protologue this material is from Paparoa Range, c. 500 mtr. höhe, R. Helms. The protologue states the year of collection to be 1886. The lectotype bears the number 62, and this appears to be a Helms number. The enclosed photocopied label is from the proposed lectotype in NY 267972.
