Notes:
Several shrubs 3-4 m tall, seemingly naturalised, as are Cotoneaster franchti, C. simonsii, and C. lacteus in the same area. Their origin is probably from the extensive garden of a solitary nearby house. Further specimens to be collected at fruiting season, along with further observations on possible naturalised status of this taxon. [See letter on voucher, M.A. Korver 15 June 2000]
