Notes:
Beneath planted conifer in driveway. Spreading shrub 1-1.5m high, presumably evergreen. Leaves dark, ± shining green above; veins indented so leaf appears rugose, pale grey-green tomentose beneath at first, eventually becoming glabrous or glabrescent. Young fruits ± oblong-obovoid, hairy. Relic of cultivation.
