Roadside shrubbery.
Notes:
Trees to c.7m high, small, suckering extensively, deciduous. Shoots thick; leaf scars prominent. Leaflets reddish-brown when young. Flowers still in bud. A few last season's samaras still present. Stand extends for 30-40m along roadside. Adventive although originally planted in the area.
