Habitat:
Bare lava, close to sea.
Notes:
Annual herbs with erect stems, purplish towards base. Older leaves purple before senescing. Outer phyllaries tipped purple. Rays 8, 3-4mm long, linear, golden. Disc florets yellow. A few plants.
