Habitat:
Roadside, tiny remnant of podocarp forest.
Notes:
Tree about 16-18m high; trunk stout, dark grey. Foliage in dense masses, light green when young, dark green when mature. Young female "cones" glaucous-white. Fruit 1.4-1.7cm long, more or less ellipsoid but somewhat flattened laterally and irregular. Scattered.
