Habitat:
Roadside, in long grass in shallow dry ditch.
Notes:
Cormous herb. Corm not collected. Leaves distichous. Inflorescence stem about 1m high, branching. Bracts brown scarious. Flowers pink, directed forwards, 7.2-7.8cm long; tube about 4cm long, curving, ampliate above curve; deeper pink towards base of tube; limb subregular; lobes c.3x1-1.4cm, (inner whorl about 1.4cm wide), more or less elliptic. Stamens less than style; filaments deep pink; anthers light purple. Style and stigmas pale pink. A few plants.
