Tree 9-10m high with slender form. Bark dark brown with shallow criss-crossing fissures [coll.]. Foliage dark green. Mature unopened cones 12-15mm diam., subglobular, shining purplish-brown. Scales with small umbo prickle. Locally common. Sheets A to B (Cones)
