Notes:
Rosetted herb with stems (including inflorescence) 50-200cm high. Leaves grey tomentose or grey-green, especially beneath. Inflorescence copiously branched with stiff diagonal branches to about 50cm long. Corolla more or less patent, yellow, 2-2.7cm across; lobes unequal, undulate. Filaments pink with dense white beard.
