Notes:
A tall tree. Leaves pubescent, dark-green. Flowers either solitary, or in lateral and terminal cymes. Sepals more or less detached from the receptacle rim, flowers 11-13 mm diameter (n=20), capsule broadly turbinate, calyx scarcely expanding before aborting (no mature capsules seen). Putative parents present Kunzea ericoides (AK 242648), Leptospermum scoparium (AK 242669) and also a hybrid swarm involving Kinzea sinclairii (AK 242674).
