Habitat:
Grazed-out forest remnant in small gully in marine terrace. Under light shade of Alectryon excelsus - Melicytus ramiflorus / Blechnum filiforme on dry clay slope above stream
Notes:
Pinnae green (not glaucous) on both sides, no hairs on underside. Rhachis, stipe bristly-hairy. Rhizomatous - patches to 0.7m diameter.
