Habitat:
Open forest on hillside, with Drypetes deplanchei, Howea forsteriana, Smilax australis, Flagellaria indica and a grassy understorey.
Notes:
Small tree, 4 m high. Bark tesselated. Petioles red. Male inflorescence green-brown; stigma dull light brown. Fruit green.
