Habitat:
Phormium tenax + Aciphylla colensoi + Coprosma pseudocuneata + Chionochloa pallens + Dracophyllum longifolium / Euphrasia cuneata scrub.
Notes:
Female plants 810, 650mm diameter. Rosettes per plant 1, 3. Spikes per plant 1, 2. Veins and margins of leaves dark yellow to orange. Top half of sheath dark yellow and sheaths of bracts. Mid vein of leaflets very wide. Female spike 1330, 900mm tall. Stem 530, 240, 400mm long, 40, 30, 55mm diameter, glaucous green and brown. Head 800, 660, 1120mm long, 400, 300, 500mm wide. Number of sterile bracts at base of head 6, 8, 20.
