Yen 504 Owairaka Pink - European pre-1900. Flower pink with magenta centre. The Kumara flower. The kumara rarely flowers in New Zealand and has never been known to set seed. The original seed tuber for this collection came from the Japan International Research Centre for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS) Tsukuba, Japan.
