Notes:
Young tree 2-3m high. Young shoots brown, more or less shining, especially on second-year shoots. Buds brownish. Leaves glaucous-white beneath with central green bands, dark shining green above, upwards directed and obscuring shoot on its upper side. Cultivated as Min fir. On north slope, young, open plantation.
