Notes:
Small, young tree about 3m high, broad pyramidal. Shoots light brown. Buds brown with broad white resinous "collar" above base. Foliage glaucous, pungent, tending to radiate round shoot but much denser on "upper" side. Cultivated as this species. In small valley bottom, in front of tall windbreak.
