Notes:
Small tree 4-6m high. Branchlets more or less pendent. Shoots pale brown. Buds more or less globose, shining chestnut brown. Leaves sloping forward, flattened, dark shining green "above" and glaucous-white "beneath", pungent. Cultivated as this species. Tall shrubbery in front of plantation.
