Notes:
Tree 4-5m high, upright habit. Shoots dark brown. Buds resinous. Leaves dark shining green above, glaucous-white-banded beneath, sloping forwards. Cones small and shrivelled, bluish-purple; scales dark blue in centre, long acuminate (?suffering from drought effects). Cultivated as this species. Cultivated in small valley bottom, open plantation. See cone collection.
