Notes:
Subshrub to c. 1 m high. Leaves shining above, ± rugose. Inflorescence erect, 6-9 cm long, strobiloid. Bracts to 2.5 x 2 cm, ovate-cordate, deep yellow. Corolla white; c. 5.2 cm long to upturned apex of upper lip; tube and upper lip itself in a continuous curving forwards; lower lip c. 1.6-1.8 cm long; with 3 short lobes, ± curving downwards. Uncommon.
