Notes:
Rhizome short and erect. Leaf lamina more or less pendent, to about 32 x 22cm, glossy, bullate, dark silvery-green with darker impressed veins above, purple beneath; petiole dark green. Inflorescence < petiole light pinkish-purple, somewhat flattened. Spathe about 8cm long; lower 4cm enclosing male and female flowers, semi-succulent, glossy pinkish-purple; upper 4cm membranous, expanded and soon reflexing, white inside, flushed pinkish-purple outside, attenuate. Spadix about 6.5cm long; staminate portion about 2.5cm long; appendix 2.3-2.5cm long, white.
