Notes:
Herb. Petiole nearly 5cm long, terete or subterete, indistinctly banded dark green; sheath at base c.1.5cm long. Lamina with apex ± downward pointing, c.40 x 19cm, sagittate, dark purple beneath, dark green and shining above with light grey-green bands along veins and midrib, margin grey-green above and secondary veins grey-green; apical apiculus c.2.3cm long; apex of petiole c.6cm from sinus. Peduncle c.20cm long, light brownish; basal sheaths 12-13cm long, pale brown with mosaic of brown lines. Spathe c.7cm long (late bud stage), constriction prominent, later c.10cm. Spadix c.6cm long; female zone short; appendage c.3cm long, yellow. Sheets A to B.
