Notes:
Mat-forming succulent. Shoots often pinkish, retrorsely puberulent. Leaves opposite, connate at base, to c.7 x 2mm, oblong or oblong-elliptic, white. Bracts, pedicels and calyx red; calyx lobes c.1.5mm long, triangular. Petals 5, 3-3.5mm long, white, oblong with rounded tip, upper part eventually recurving. Stamens 5, < petals; filaments white; anthers red. Carpels 5, becoming red; styles 6-8mm long at anthesis, becoming red, subequal to carpels. Glandular scales orange, c.0.2-0.3 x 0.3-0.4mm, ± broad cuneiform.
