Habitat:
Herbfield-tussock slope bordering mountain stream.
Notes:
Flowers: cream to yellow/cream. Heads: 8-15mm. Scape: 5-16cm (small plants), 16-30cm (large plants). Leaves: 2-5cm (small plants), 5-9cm (large plants). Locally common here and again on sunny rock bluff ledges.Plants with fragrant smell though glandular hairs not readily visible. Both leaf surfaces with long and dense cottony hairs as a felt, arising from tips of multicellular hairs.
