Habitat:
Ridge top. Near plantation of conifers, amongst tussock grass and scattered shrubs.
Notes:
Young shrub, apparently deciduous but where growing in a more sheltered and protected site then ± evergreen. Leaves mostly thin and flexible, reddish-brown when young, medium green later. 2 or 3 young plants seen.
