Habitat:
On steep bank above road and Spanish heath.
Notes:
Low spreading shrub to c.50cm high, with stiff rigid branches forming a semi-herringbone pattern, tending fasciated towards the ends which are often buried in grass. Leaves dark glossy green above, glaucescent beneath. Fruit 8-10mm diameter, very broadly obovoid (wider than long), deep crimson. A few plants.
