Habitat:
Vertical stream bank beside 1m wide meandering upland stream among short tussocks and mountain herbs.
Notes:
Scape (9)-12-(16)cm. Flowers - cream - (15)-20-(22)mm. Leaves - grey - (40)-50-(70)mm. Very common but only locally, over a few metres of steep stream bank habitat. Craspedia "grey-green".
