Habitat:
Poa colensoi grassland, 5° slope, south east aspect, on slight saddle of range crest; in well-drained, deep and fine soil.
Notes:
Scape (10)-15-(23)cm. Head 1.5-2.2cm. Leaves (3)-6cm. Leaves sticky to touch, they stick to each other resinous smell. Flowers variable, from white to slightly cream - yellow. Common very locally - i.e. only one at 40 - 50m extent. Craspedia "green sticky". Examples of plant sizes: Plant diams: 9, 4, 7, 13, 9, 5cm. No. of rosettes: 7, 1, 4, 12, 9, 4. No. of heads: 4, 1, 3, 6, 7, 2.
