Habitat:
Roadside north of settlement, amongst grass.
Notes:
Erect-stemmed prickly herb. Inflorescence stems whitish. Capitula nodding; phyllaries ± purple or greenish-purple. Florets rosy-purple, the whole capitulum 3-3.5cm across. A single plant seen.
