F1 from artificial cross by J. McGuffog. From northernmost tree of five, c.22 metres tall. Samples collected from the green crown at c.15 metres above ground. Male cones empty and mostly abscinded. Female conelets presumably pollinated within the period 14-30 July. Foliage smelling of "macrocarpa" when bruised.
