Notes:
Low-climbing vine. Leaves soft, shining beneath. Flowers pendent. Perianth segments curving upwards and inwards at first (forming a basket), later becoming ± horizontal. Perianth segments 5-5.5 cm x 1.3-1.6 cm in widest part, strongly curled and undulate toward margins, yellow in basal half and orange-red proximal half at first, becoming totally crimson. Filaments c. 3 cm long curving downards slightly, green eventually orange red. Style (+ stigmas) green or yellowish, c. 4 cm long, ± horizontal and sharply bent at right angle at base. A very local adventive.
